Emergency services have been called to a major fire involving a number of fields on the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border at Scarcliffe in Derbyshire.
Fire crews were called at 16:46 BST on Monday. Flames can be seen from some distance away, with smoke reported as visible from both Mansfield and Bolsover.
Emergency Response
Ten fire engines from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service are working together to tackle the blaze.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "This is a number of fields on fire and we have a smoke plume that can be seen from as far away as Mansfield. We have 10 fire engines between us tackling this blaze and crews are working hard to get this dealt with as soon as possible."
Public Safety Advice
Nearby residents have been urged to stay away from the area and keep windows closed. People are asked not to attempt to approach the fire or fly drones over it.
Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service is also managing a large-scale moorland wildfire on Tintwistle Moor in Glossop, which began nearly three weeks ago.
