Community and voluntary groups in Mansfield District are being invited to apply for grants of up to £10,000 as part of the Pride in Place Impact Fund.
Mansfield District Council was awarded a total allocation of £1.5 million from the fund for the period 2025–27. The Pride in Place Impact Fund was established by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government as part of its £5 billion Pride in Place Programme, designed to invest directly in local neighbourhoods.
How the grants work
The Pride in Place Impact Fund Grant Board has decided that remaining funds will be directed towards small, grassroots-level capital projects that strengthen community spaces and local pride. To ensure the money reaches organisations that can benefit most, the Board is working with Mansfield CVS to manage applications.
The grants will support practical, place-based improvements delivered by trusted local groups already active in their neighbourhoods.
What the programme has achieved
This final phase of funding will complete the overall Pride in Place Impact Fund programme, which has already supported a range of community-led initiatives across the district.
Caroline Gill, CEO of Mansfield CVS, said: "We're pleased to help ensure this final portion of the Pride in Place funding reaches the grassroots groups who make such a difference in their communities. These small capital grants will enable local organisations to improve the spaces and places that matter most to residents."
Elected Mayor of Mansfield, Andy Abrahams, added that the council is "delighted that we can work with Mansfield CVS, to really target some of those organisations in the community who could" benefit from the support.
