Mansfield Town will face Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday 19 September at 12.30pm in an EFL Trophy group stage fixture.
Burton Albion have been drawn into Northern Group F alongside Notts County, Grimsby Town and Nottingham Forest under-21's. Manager Gary Bowyer's side will begin their campaign three days later, hosting Nottingham Forest under-21's on Tuesday 22 September.
The Brewers will then travel to Grimsby Town at Blundell Park on Tuesday 6 October, the first of three consecutive away fixtures. Burton's group phase concludes with a home match against Notts County on Tuesday 10 November, which marks the second of three anticipated meetings between the sides this season.
All group games scheduled for Tuesday evenings kick off at 7pm. Further ticket details for the Forest and Notts County fixtures will follow.
